Cross-Chain Crypto Casino
Play on Algorand from any blockchain. Bridge USDC from 6+ networks in minutes.
What is Cross-Chain Gaming?
Cross-chain gaming means you can participate in a game on one blockchain using assets from another. AlgoRoll runs on Algorand for its speed and low fees, but you don't need to already have Algorand USDC to play. The built-in bridge lets you move USDC from your preferred chain to Algorand seamlessly.
Supported Networks
AlgoRoll's Allbridge integration supports USDC bridging from: Ethereum (the largest DeFi ecosystem), Solana (fast and popular for crypto gaming), BNB Smart Chain (BSC) (low-fee EVM chain), Polygon (Ethereum L2 with cheap transactions), Arbitrum (Ethereum L2 rollup), and Base (Coinbase's L2 chain). This covers the vast majority of where crypto users hold their USDC.
How Bridging Works
Bridging is simple: (1) Go to the Buy Chips page on AlgoRoll. (2) Select your source chain (e.g., Ethereum). (3) Enter the amount of USDC to bridge. (4) Approve the transaction in your wallet (MetaMask, Phantom, etc.). (5) Wait for the bridge to process (typically 1-5 minutes depending on the source chain). (6) Your USDC arrives on Algorand and is ready to convert to chips. Allbridge handles the cross-chain messaging and liquidity.
Fees & Speed
Bridging fees vary by source chain: Ethereum transfers cost the most in gas ($5-20+), while L2s like Polygon, Arbitrum, and Base are much cheaper ($0.01-0.50). Allbridge charges a small bridging fee on top. Once your USDC reaches Algorand, all subsequent transactions (chip conversion, betting, withdrawals) use Algorand's $0.001 fees.
Why Not Just Build on Ethereum?
Running a real-time casino on Ethereum mainnet would mean: $5-50 gas per bet, 12+ minutes for finality per round, and unsustainable costs for both players and the platform. Algorand gives AlgoRoll 3.3-second finality and $0.001 fees. Bridging is a one-time cost that unlocks a dramatically better gaming experience.
Frequently Asked Questions
Is bridging safe?
Allbridge is an established cross-chain protocol. However, all bridges carry some risk. Only bridge amounts you are comfortable with, and verify the bridge transaction completed before playing.
Can I withdraw back to my original chain?
Yes. You can bridge USDC back from Algorand to any supported chain using the same Allbridge integration on AlgoRoll.
